I saw my co-villagers being shot before my very eyes

“My name is S.K. and I am Christian. In Sudan I was working as a volunteer at my village’s Church until the day we were attacked by Muslims. On this day I saw many co-villagers of mine being shot before my very eyes, only because of the fact that they were Christians.

I saw our Church burning and our priest to be tortured to death… They didn’t kill me. They took me to a stable, where they hit me manically and they swore at me because I was working at the church. After that they raped me and left me laying there, almost dead…I would rather have died! There was one woman who helped me survive and leave Sudan…”

When S.K arrived in Greece, it was found that because of her being subject to rape, she was infected by HIV…
